A form of exercise that combines body movement, mental focus, and controlled breathing to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall health. Examples of mind-body exercise or mind-body movement include Yoga, Pilates, Qi gong and Tai Chi. Pilates can also be called Mindful Movement as you focus on connecting your breath with movements within an exercise.
